France: Citizens forced to convert to Islam to get married

French weekly VSD reports that French citizens who want to get married to foreign women from North Africa find themselves in a bizarre situation. According to French law, the latter need to provide a document from their embassy that they're free to marry. But the embassies only provide this document if the French spouse converts to Islam. This mean that, by proxy, the French authorities are imposing Muslim conversion on French citizens.

Malika Sorel, a member of the High Council of Integration, explained to the the Atlantico news-site that the French authorities have to verify that the foreigner wishing to marry is not already married. It is the Muslim countries who are forcing the French citizens to convert, not France. If the French authorities forgo the required legal documents, you'll have exposes about the increase in polygamous marriages.

Since foreigners have to comply with the laws in their countries, Sorel says that the only way to fight this is to denounce the requirements imposed by the foreign embassies.

Seymour on the “evil” Military Wives Choir

If you want reassurance that Richard Seymour and his fellow SWPers will never come close to achieving power in anything resembling a democracy, read his latest post at Lenin’s Tomb venting his contempt-verging-on-hatred for, um, British soldiers serving in Afghanistan and their wives.

The Military Wives Choir is concentrated evil. It is vicious, stupid and banal. It is the worst form of sentimentality. Their husbands murder Afghans for queen and country, and they murder music for the same righteous cause. Wherever you are, soldier boy, know that the love of your counterpart is so strong, so thoroughly adequate, that it is apt to suddenly materialise into a substance able to “keep you safe” from the foreigners you are busy subduing in the rough hinterlands. Yet at the very same time, this love is so elevated, so ethereal, so much above the humdrum and quotidian, that it is almost as if her heart will, as it were, “build a bridge of light across both time and space”. Oh, but there is more, cherished mercenary, much more to say on this love. For its cosmic ordering is capable of reducing the distance between Nottingham and Helmand by various simple expedients. Your hearts will “beat as one”, for one. This while your amour holds you in her dreams each night “until your task is done”, O “prince of peace”.

Seymour is referring to a choir comprising wives of soldiers in Afghanistan who appeared on the BBC TV show “The Choir” and have released a song, “Wherever You Are.”

He goes on to excoriate Jonathan Freedland of The Guardian, who dares to find something (shudder) encouraging and sweet about it.

(It would have been nice if the choir had included a few husbands of female soldiers deployed in Afghanistan. But still, what kind of person does it take to call something like this “evil”?)
Seymour concludes:

We cannot afford to be complacent about such ordure. We have to destroy it, instantly, utterly. It won’t do to simply buy a few Nirvana singles to get them to the top of the charts instead of Military Wives. That won’t even work at this point. We have to start confronting this military fetishism wherever it insinuates itself in daily life. The ‘help for heroes’ boondoggle should be noisily boycotted; anyone collecting money for military causes in a bear outfit should be mercilessly ridiculed; young air, navy and army cadets sent out to pack bags at Marks and Spencer should be told exactly how and where to get a life; the poppies should be burned – not just a few, in a symbolic Islam4UK-style action, but all of them in a mass cremation of postcolonial bunting; and any family members who actually sign up to wear a uniform of the armed forces in Afghanistan or anywhere else should be shunned, not loved. That’s a map of our kulturkampf for 2012.

 But by all means, Seymour and company. Pursue, with all the vigor you can muster, your kulturkampf against working-class soldiers who are doing more than you ever could hope to do .on behalf of human freedom I can’t wait for the backlash.

More Britons terror-training in Somalia: minister

Britain’s international development minister says there are now more people from the UK training for terrorism in camps in Somalia than anywhere else in the world.
 

Andrew Mitchell said Thursday that Somalia poses a major threat, which may now be greater than the risks once posed by camps in Pakistan’s border regions.

Mitchell said “there are probably more British passport-holders engaged in terrorist training in Somalia than in any other country in the world.”

It follows warnings from the heads of Britain’s spy agencies about Britons training alongside Al-Shabab militants in Somalia.

Britain will host an international conference in February aimed at helping Somalia tackle militancy, piracy and its crippling humanitarian needs.

How can we remain silent while Christians are being persecuted?

A new evil is sweeping the Middle East and the Foreign Office is failing to confront it. 

 

Father Immanuel Dabaghian, one of Baghdad’s last surviving priests, is expecting a quiet Christmas. To join him in the Church of the Virgin Mary means two hours of security checks and a body search at the door, and even then there’s no guarantee of survival. Islamist gunmen massacred 58 people in a nearby church last year, and fresh graffiti warns remaining worshippers that they could be next.

The Americans have gone now, and Iraq’s Christian communities – some of the world’s oldest – are undergoing an exodus on a biblical scale.

Of the country’s 1.4 million Christians, about two thirds have now fled. Although the British Government is reluctant to recognise it, a new evil is sweeping the Middle East: religious cleansing. The attacks, which peak at Christmas, have already spread to Egypt, where Coptic Christians have seen their churches firebombed by Islamic fundamentalists. In Tunisia, priests are being murdered. Maronite Christians in Lebanon have, for the first time, become targets of bombing campaigns. Christians in Syria, who have suffered as much as anyone from the Assad regime, now pray for its survival. If it falls, and the Islamists triumph, persecution may begin in earnest.

The idea of Christianity as a kind of contagion that is foreign to the Arab world is bizarre: it is, of course, a Middle Eastern religion successfully exported to the pagan West. Those feet, in ancient times, came nowhere near England’s mountains green. The Nativity is a Middle Eastern story about a child born to a Jewish mother, whose first visitors were three wise Iranians and who was then swept off to Egypt to escape Roman persecution.

His Apostles later scattered to Libya, Turkey and Iraq, to establish the Christian communities that are now under threat. For most of history, they have coexisted happily with Muslims: dressing the same way, even celebrating each other’s festivals. The rise of the veil, and other cultural dividing lines, is a relatively modern phenomenon.

These dividing lines are now being made into battle lines by hardline Salafists, who are emerging as victors of the Arab Spring. They belong to the same mutant strain of Sunni Islam which inspired al-Qaeda. Their agenda is sectarian warfare, and they loathe Shia Islam as much as they do Christians and Jews. Their enemy lies not over a border, but in a church, synagogue or Shia mosque. The Salafists may be detested by the Muslim mainstream. But as they are finding out, you don’t need to be popular to seize power in a post-dictatorship Arab world – you just need to be the best organised. The West is so obsessed with government structure that it doesn’t notice when power lies elsewhere, and Islamist death squads are executing barbers and unveiled women in places like Basra.

Two years ago, the idea of such bloody sectarianism would have sounded like a macabre fantasy in a country as civilised as Egypt. After al-Qaeda bombed a church on New Year’s Day, Muslim elders sat in the front pews forming a human shield and defying the terrorists. But moderate Egyptians are now losing this power struggle. The killing has started, with another 25 Copts murdered in October. Tens of thousands of Egypt’s Christians have already joined their Iraqi counterparts in exile: as Iraq proved, one death can lead to a thousand emigrations. The Salafists are finding it staggeringly easy to realise their fantasy of a “purer” Egypt.
The Arab Spring was always going to mean danger for religious minorities, unleashing the Islamic extremists who previously were kept at bay. For all their evil, the old secular tyrants abused their victims equally, whether they wore the cross, hijab or skullcap. This year’s revolutions are marked by the utter absence of any leaders-in-waiting. History has repeatedly shown how, under such circumstances, regime change can be followed by a descent into sectarian chaos. Extremists can easily start fights along religious or ethnic lines by assassinating a leader, or blowing up a shrine. The result can be civil war (as with Bosnia and Rwanda), even leading to partition (as with India and Cyprus).

The Foreign Office has been typically slow to recognise the gathering threat, despite repeated warnings. The biggest one of all came a fortnight ago, when the Archbishop of Canterbury opened a gripping debate in the Lords about the widening persecutions, and what the Government ought to do. Lord Patten, the former education secretary, revealed that he spent a year failing to persuade the Foreign Office to help a group of Anglicans in the Anatolian peninsula, who are banned from worshipping in any public place. “'The answer was no,’ he said. 'They would not approach the Turkish government to ask, 'Please can you ease up a bit?’” But when German Catholics were having trouble in the same place, Angela Merkel’s government intervened immediately, working with the Turks to send a Catholic priest to hold public worship.

So why the British reticence? It might be that the Foreign Office sees this as part of a soppy equalities agenda, unworthy of diplomatic attention. Those who have raised the issue directly with William Hague, the Foreign Secretary, say he is unenthusiastic. When Mr Hague visited Algeria recently, he did not raise its ban on any Christian activity outside state-licensed buildings.

When challenged, ministers deplore persecution in general – but, seemingly, not so much that they’d do something like pick up the phone to Ankara. Yet there is plenty Britain can do. Countries could be denied aid until Christians (or Jews, or Sunnis) are allowed to worship freely. British diplomats could be empowered, even instructed, to advocate freedom of religion. When a peer of the realm alerts the Foreign Office to some persecuted Anglicans, a red alert ought to sound. Mr Hague might even publish an annual audit of religious freedom in various countries, making clear its importance to Britain. It might make its own estimate about the scale of the flood of refugees.

The Foreign Office did not realise the full evil of ethnic cleansing in the Balkans until it was too late: it did not take civil tensions seriously enough. It can do better now, making clear that it regards religious cleansing as an emerging evil that ought to be confronted wherever it is being incubated. Article 18 of the UN Charter of Human Rights guarantees freedom of religion – and yet outright religious oppression is quietly ignored, from Saudi Arabia to the Maldives. For ages, Iran has been able to persecute Baha’is with a minimum of fuss kicked up in the West. The ayatollahs are now turning the screw on Christians, with 300 arrested in the past year.

Speaking in that House of Lords debate were men to whom the idea of religious cleansing is anything but abstract. Lord (Dolar) Popat fled Uganda when Idi Amin turned on the Indians in 1971. Hindus, he said, are taught that it is a sin to be prejudiced against anyone. But it is “an even greater sin to witness persecution, then sit back and do nothing to stop it”. Lord Sacks, the Chief Rabbi, said his parents were once victims of the same evil that now confronts Christians. He quoted Martin Luther King: “In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies but the silence of our friends.”

Our friends in the Middle East are all waiting to hear from HM Government. Perhaps, in the new year, it might have something to say.

French Muslim jailed for punching nurse

Marseille FRANCE
   A Muslim man who punched a nurse for trying to remove his wife's burqa during childbirth has been jailed in France.

Nassim Mimoune, 24, had already been expelled from the delivery room for branding the midwife a 'rapist' as she carried out an intimate examination of his wife.
Then through a window he spotted the nurse taking off his wife's burqa as she prepared to give birth.
He smashed open the locked door and hit the woman in the face, demanding she replace the full Islamic face veil.

As his wife delivered a baby boy, Mimoune was ejected from the building by security men from the hospital in Marseille and arrested for assault.

A judge in the southern French port jailed Mimoune for six months on Wednesday, telling him: 'Your religious values are not superior to the laws of the republic.'

Lutfur Rahman cabinet member: 'I luv my weapons'

Oh dear – here’s the social networking website that Cllr Rania Khan forgot! The picture above, of a rather ferocious-looking hand dagger, is taken from Rania’s pages on the “Hi5" site. In the caption beneath it, Lutfur Rahman’s cabinet member for culture declares: “This is wat i m takin about. I knw its not lady like, but i luv my weapons.”

However many “weapons” has Rania got, I wonder? The one in the pic alone is almost certainly worth two years if she’s caught with it in the street…

There's also a delightful outbreak of homophobia (completely unprecedented on Planet Rahman, of course.) Beneath a shot of a young man with his arm round another one, Rania tenderly declares: "My cozn's gone batty brav." Batty is of course slang for gay in leading progressive circles, such as school playgrounds, English Defence League demonstrations, and the vocabularies of Lutfur Rahman supporters. And I'm sure the reason the two lads are holding a rose in their picture can't be anything to do with mocking other people's sexual orientation.


Other pictures on Rania’s site include one of the extremist cleric Zakir Naik, banned from Britain after saying that “every Muslim should be a terrorist,” and Rania herself with publicity material from the hardline Islamic Human Rights Commission, which busies itself with attacking the prosecution of such notable victims of British imperialism as – er- Abu Hamza. Visit soon before she takes them down!

Rania was a keynote speaker at last month's Fem 11 conference; one of the top subjects on the agenda was defeating violence against women. The possession of instruments of violence by women, however, seems to be something she's held rather more mixed views on.

Let’s hope Rania has grown up a bit since posting these pics – they are six years old. But when she put them up, she was only a few months off becoming a councillor. And her ghastly English is almost as bad for someone who’s supposed to be promoting high cultural standards. None of it will do much for Lutfur’s attempts to deny his links to Islamic extremism. Is there a single member of the mayor's inner circle, I wonder, who is not a complete embarrassment?

Ex-soldier fanatic in fraud bust Arrest over charity cash

A BRITISH soldier turned Islamic extremist has been arrested on suspicion of fraud.

Radical convert Abu Jibreel — who says drinkers should be whipped — is alleged to have pocketed donations for foreign war victims he collected outside mosques.

Ex-Irish Guard Jibreel, 39, formerly called Paul Steven Mellor, was arrested in Leyton, East London, over allegations of fraud and false misrepresentation.

He was quizzed by detectives yesterday over claims he used a fake ID to collect cash by saying it was for victims in civil war-torn Somalia and Libya.

Cheshire-born Jibreel — one of hate preacher Anjem Choudary's acolytes and a one-time member of the banned Muslims Against Crusades group — is then alleged to have stolen the money.

Jibreel, divorced from Gaynor Hardman, mother of his three children, served with the Irish Guards between 1988 and 1997. That year he converted to Islam after a drunken chat with a Muslim cabbie.

Jibreel has a St George's Cross tattoo on his neck — a memento from his Army days. He now wants to turn Britain into an Islamic state with Sharia law.

He declared: "I used to have a pint when I was in the Army — but I don't think it's excessive to lash drinkers."

A source said: "If the accusations are proved against him, he will also be guilty of gross hypocrisy."
Jibreel was last night released on bail until February.

Clifford Tibber, who represented the relatives of seven people killed in the atrocity, said there was "precious little" evidence of any significant change more than six months after the inquests concluded.

He said Londoners must wonder whether the city is any better equipped to respond to an attack than it was in 2005 - the year four suicide bombers detonated explosives on the transport network, murdering 52 innocent people.

Bereaved relatives have also voiced concerns over the country's capacity to deal with another attack of similar magnitude - despite the five-month investigation.

Their comments come as Britain prepares to welcome millions of people to the capital for next year's Olympic Games.

"The families were united in trying to ensure that any past failings should be remedied," Mr Tibber said. "There has been precious little evidence of any major changes and most Londoners must be wondering if the emergency services can respond any quicker than they did in 2005. What has happened, for example, to publicly accessible first aid kits on Underground trains, blue light status for London Underground's emergency response vehicles and public funding for the London Air Ambulance Service?"

At the conclusion of the long-awaited inquest into the 52 deaths, coroner Lady Justice Hallett set out nine recommendations proposing a series of changes to intelligence and emergency procedures which she hoped "may save lives" in the future.

These included the suggestions that more first aid equipment should be kept on London Underground trains; that hospital staff and paramedics should examine how they handle major incidents; and that the funding and capabilities of the London Air Ambulance should be reviewed. She cautioned against allowing the recommendations to "lie on a shelf for 15 years" but as a coroner she has no powers to ensure action is taken.

The organisations in question insist they have reviewed procedures and say many recommendations are already in place or in the final stages.

The Greater London Authority said many recommendations had "previously been addressed" or were in the "final stages".

London: Muslim baby was at risk of 'honor killing'

A baby at risk of becoming the victim of an "honor killing" because she was born as the result of her unmarried Muslim mother's secret affair must be adopted to keep her safe, the Court of Appeal ruled on Wednesday.

Three senior judges rejected a bid by the one-year-old girl's natural father to have her live with him and his wife.

The child's natural mother is in favor of adoption so that her own family will not find out about the birth.

Lord Justice Munby, Lady Justice Black and Lord Justice Kitchin said in a joint judgment the case involved "exceptionally difficult adoption proceedings", the Press Association reported.

The judges imposed unusually wide reporting restrictions banning the publication of all names and locations linked to the case because of the continuing dangers faced by mother and child.

MUSLIMS IN INDONESIA RAMP UP THEIR BRUTALITY, TAKE TO BEHEADING NON-MUSLIM CHILDREN……..

This is what happens when demographics shift and Islam reaches critical mass in numbers, the pressure against the existing host culture begins, and it’s either flee or convert. Not all Muslims would partake in such depravity (just stand and observe), but a number of them however would, remember it’s always the traditionalist/fundamentalist that has to be feared the most, and the silent majority.

I would advise not watching this video, one of the rare times I will issue such a statement, the site is absolutely gruesome. The father is hung and the children are butchered as goats.

A murder victim’s family who want to know if the man who shot their son is in Britain legally

A murder victim’s family who want to know if the man who shot their son is in Britain legally have been refused the information – to protect the killer’s privacy.

Wintworth and Lurline Deslandes are desperate to confirm suspicions that Saturday Hassan is a foreign national so they can ensure he is deported if he is released from jail.

But they have been told the killer – who shot their public schoolboy son Darren in the head after being thrown out of the family’s pub – must agree to details of his immigration status being handed over to their MP.

Officials said this ‘personal information’ needed to be ‘safeguarded’ and cited the Data Protection Act in their refusal to hand it over.

The UK Border Agency also insisted it needed ‘written authority’ from Hassan himself, who is serving life with a minimum term of 37 years, before any details could be released. 
The Deslandes family are enraged by the response and their case has sparked a furious reaction at Westminster, with the couple’s MP branding the decision ‘ridiculous’.

Killer: Saturday Hassan's privacy is being protected by the Borders Agency

Their son, a former Dulwich College schoolboy who attended Brunel University and worked for a housing association, was due to be married to Abigail Beresford earlier this year.

Last night Croydon North MP Malcolm Wicks said: ‘The logic of that answer is that I should write a nice letter saying, “Dear murderer, would you give me permission to find out if you are a foreign national, so I can make sure in the future you are deported”.’  
The former Labour business minister added: ‘It’s ridiculous. The family of the murdered man had a suspicion for some reason he might have been a foreign national and it didn’t come out in court.

‘My experience as an MP is that if you find out some criminal is a foreign national, I do my best to pressure the Home Office to check the person out. That’s one reason an MP should be able to find out.’

Hassan, 31, was thrown out of the Deslandes family’s pub – the Newton Arms in Croydon, South London – on New Year’s Eve 2009 after threatening a customer.  
Minutes later he returned with a semi-automatic weapon, firing at Darren, 34, and his younger brother Junior, who had evicted him.  

Darren was shot in the head and died instantly. Junior, 26, was hit three times in the head, neck and shoulder. He was left critically ill but survived.

Mr Deslandes – who bought the pub in 1999 after working as an insurance underwriter in the City of London for 25 years – was hit over the head with the butt of the gun.
Last year Hassan was found guilty of murder and attempted murder at the Old Bailey and jailed.

Judge David Paget said: ‘What you did has taken the life of a thoroughly good and worthy young man with his life before him and has devastated the lives of the whole Deslandes family, of Darren Deslandes’s fiancée and I dare say of others near and dear to them.’

The family insist the question of Hassan’s immigration status never came up at the trial.
During the trial, Mr Wicks wrote to the Home Office asking for information on the killer’s immigration status after the family told him they believed Hassan was in the country illegally, having arrived here from Guyana in South America.

On December 2 last year the UK Border Agency wrote back. A letter signed by the then chief executive, Lin Homer, refused to divulge any details about Hassan’s past.

She wrote: ‘I hope that you will appreciate that in order to safeguard an individual’s personal information and comply with the Data Protection Act 1998, we are limited in what information we can provide when a request is made by someone, such as your constituent, who is not the subject of the application. Except in a few exceptional circumstances, we must ensure we have the written authority of the individual concerned before the information is divulged to anyone else.’

It also said the reply was a ‘proportionate response to protecting the privacy of the individual’. 

Shooting: Hassan was filmed on CCTV as he launched his fatal assault

Last night Mrs Deslandes, 57, said: ‘I do not see why he should have any data protection. He has killed someone. We are the victims and no one is there to protect us. He should be removed from the country.’

Mr Deslandes, 60, who is terminally ill with lung cancer, added: ‘He shot both of my sons and he tried to kill me as well, but he ran out of bullets.’

Raising the case in the in the House of Commons on Monday during a debate about the deportation of foreign nationals, Mr Wicks branded the decision ‘total nonsense’.

Immigration Minister Damian Green said he ‘rather agreed’ and described the situation as ‘absurd’. But officials admitted he was constrained by the Data Protection Act.

Last night a Home Office official said: ‘The minister is able to discuss more in some cases but the Data Protection Act is what it is and he can’t act above that.’ 


A UKBA spokesperson said yesterday: 'Our immigration rules clearly state that a foreign national receiving a prison sentence of more than 12 months will automatically be considered for deportation.'

Mr Wicks raised the issue during a Commons debate on foreign criminals after a leaked Home Office report revealed foreign nationals allowed to remain in the UK have committed horrendous crimes including murder, rape and kidnap.

Ministers have pledged to increase the number of foreign nationals sent home but are being thwarted by the Human Rights Act, especially Article 8 which gives individuals a right to a ‘private and family life’. 

 

Second Period of Islamic Power

For the 30 years since "The McLaughlin Group" began to run on network television, the Christmas and New Year's shows have been devoted to the conferring of annual awards.

The first award on the Christmas show is "Biggest Winner."

This year, clearly, one of the world's big winner was -- Islam.

For this was the year when what Catholic apologist Hilaire Belloc predicted in 1938 would be the "second period of Islamic power" became manifest to all mankind.

From Morocco to Pakistan, a great awakening is occurring. And perhaps the most dramatic example of Islam rising again came in Egypt, with the fall of the 60-year-old military dictatorship.

With the ouster of Hosni Mubarak after weeks of demonstrations in Tahrir Square, the West hailed the coming of democracy.

But democracy delivered a rude shock. In the first round of voting, over 60 percent of all Egyptians cast their ballots for either the Muslim Brotherhood or the radical Islamist Nour Party of the Salafis. In the second round last week, 75 percent voted Islamist.

In Tunis and Tripoli, too, the overthrow of autocrats revealed a silent majority sympathetic to Islamism.
Recep Erdogan, the most important Turkish ruler since Kemal Ataturk, was a candidate for Time's Man of the Year as he turned his nation's back on a century of secularism and embraced a form of Islamism.
Muslim Uighurs seek to rip China's largest province away from Beijing and establish an East Turkestan. Muslims in the North Caucasus seek to strip Dagestan and Ingushetia out of Russia. In Iraq and Afghanistan, Americans are in retreat and Islamists are celebrating our eviction.

While all the world has heard of the atrocity against Muslims in Srebrenica, that world ignores the desecration and destruction of Orthodox churches and cathedrals in Kosovo and the ethnic cleansing of Serbs by the Muslim Albanians that President Clinton brought to power.

Worldwide, the Muslim population has surpassed Catholicism as the world's largest religion, with 48 members of the U.N. General Assembly now boasting a Muslim plurality or majority.

India, with 150 million Muslims, has more than both Egypt and Iraq. Russia, with 25 million, has more Muslims than Libya and Jordan combined. China has more than Syria. Five percent of Europe is Muslim, and the numbers continue to rise.

And as with Christianity when it was surging in the 16th and 17th centuries, Islam is marked today by militancy and intolerance. From Nigeria to Ethiopia, Egypt, Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan, Christians are being made the victims of Muslim pogroms. And as with Christianity in the 16th and 17th centuries, Islam is a house divided, between Shia and Sunni.

If demography is destiny, the future would seem to belong to Islam.
Consider. The six most populous Muslim nations -- Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Pakistan, Nigeria and Turkey -- had a total population of 242 million in 1950. By 2050, that 242 million will have quintupled to 1.36 billion people.

Meanwhile, Europe's fertility rate has been below zero population growth since the 1970s. Old Europe is dying, and its indigenous peoples are being replaced by Third World immigrants, millions of them Muslim.
Yet there is another side to the Islamic story.

In international test scores of high school students in reading, math and science, not one Muslim nation places in the top 30. Take away oil and gas, and from Algeria to Iran these nations would have little to offer the world. Iran would have to fall back on exports of carpets, caviar and pistachio nuts.
Not one Muslim nation is a member of the G-8 economic powers or the BRIC-four emerging powers -- Brazil, Russia, India, China.

In the 20th century, the world saw the rise of the Asian "tigers" -- South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong. Where are the Muslim tigers?

A few years back, the gross domestic product of the entire Arab world was only equal to Spain's. Take away oil and gas, and its exports were equal to Finland's.

Measured by manufacturing power, the Islamic world, though more populous, cannot hold a candle to China. And while Islam was a civilization superior in some ways to the West from the 7th to 17th century, somewhere that world began to stagnate and decline.

So the question arises: If Islamism is capturing Libya, Tunisia and Egypt, and will capture other Muslim nations as the Arab Spring advances, where is the historic evidence that these Islamic regimes can convert their states into manufacturing and military powers?

Where is the evidence that Islamist regimes, such as Sudan and Iran, can deliver what their peoples demanded when they brought down the dictators?

And if, like the communist regimes of the 20th century, they cannot deliver the good life that the rebels sought when they dumped the tyrants, what will follow Islamism, when Islamism inevitably fails?
In the long run, does Islamism really own the future of the Islamic world? Or has the clock begun to run on the fundamentalists as well?

Mayor of Tower Hamlets is backed by extremists - PCC ruling

 Since April Lutfur Rahman, the extremist-backed mayor of Tower Hamlets, has been pursuing a PCC campaign against the Telegraph. He has over the last eight months made four complaints, all of which were finally resolved to our satisfaction last week.

1. That we described him as “extremist-backed” by virtue of his “close links” to an extremist Islamic organisation, the Islamic Forum of Europe. Rahman claimed that he had “repeatedly and consistently denied links to the IFE.” We pointed out that he had in fact repeatedly refused to deny having links to the IFE, including here and here. We pointed out that many others in Tower Hamlets politics, including the chief coordinator of his own mayoral election campaign, Bodrul Islam, have stated his links with the extremists in terms and on the record.

The PCC rejected Rahman’s complaint, saying that to describe him as being “extremist-backed” and as having “close links” to the IFE was “not misleading.” We will continue to detail Rahman's many links with extremism, but have agreed to start including the denials which he has recently started making.

2. That we gave the impression he had been charged with fraud in a blogpost headlined “Lutfur Rahman councillor is charged with fraud.” Rahman claimed that the article, about one of his supporters, Cllr Shelina Akhtar,could confuse people whose English was poor. As we pointed out, the very first sentences of the piece read: “One of the most prominent supporters of Tower Hamlets’ extremist-backed mayor, Lutfur Rahman, has been charged with fraud. Councillor Shelina Akhtar appears in court next month.” The piece goes on to say that “Akhtar is accused… She is charged with… She remains a member of Tower Hamlets council at the time of writing.” As we said, it is perfectly clear that the mayor was not the individual charged. His name is not Shelina Akhtar, he is not a councillor and he is not a woman.

The PCC rejected Rahman’s complaint,saying: “The article made clear from the opening paragraph that it was the councillor and not the complainant who had been charged. The Commission did not agree that readers would be misled.”

3. That in our reporting of his decision to give a character reference to a convicted sex attacker, we failed to mention that the reference had subsequently been withdrawn. We pointed out that the man, a minicab driver, had pleaded guilty to a serious sexual assault on a helpless woman passenger seven full weeks before Rahman gave his reference in court, at the sentencing hearing. Rahman withdrew the reference only once the matter got into the press, well after the man had already been sentenced. By that time it was too late to do the attacker any harm or his victim any good.

The PCC rejected Rahman’s complaint, saying: “As the reference had been a feature of the active consideration of the case, the Commission did not consider the omission of any mention of its later withdrawal would have significantly misled readers.”

 This is wrong. Muslims do not have to pray during school; they can make it up before or after class. Islamic supremacism on the march. Separation of church and state. Separation of mosque and state.

“The issue of students praying in school has come up a number of times this year, in part, because we have an increasing number of students who practice the Islam faith, many of whom are Somali students,” said Barbara Dorff, director of student services for the district. “But it is our responsibility to find a private place for these students to pray and to allow them to pray.”

Why is it the school’s responsibility? If the children are so religious, why aren’t they in madrassa?

Denmark: Schools drop Christmas traditions out of consideration for Muslim students

Schools are increasingly changing Christmas tradition in order to take into account a growing number of bilingual children.

At the Klostervænget school in Copenhagen, the school administration changed a few verses in the 'A Child is Born in Bethlehem' hymn sung by the children because they thought it would be preaching too much to the bilingual children.

At Møllevang school in Aarhus the school administration asked a music teacher to choose hymns that took into account the Muslim students, after students in a 3rd grade class and their parents protested that the children were expected to sing "Here come your little ones, Jesus".

At the Nørrevang school in Slagelse, the school administration canceled the Christmas ceremony in church, since the priest insisted on saying the Lord's prayer, and the school administration thought it would insult some of the students.

These examples show that various schools with many students of immigrant background are changing the way Christmas is celebrated. The schools feel they're in a dilemma between Christian traditions and taking into account the fact that increasing numbers of students are Muslim.

"By us it's important that all children have the same rights and obligations. Nobody should feel excluded, and therefore we won't go into a church with some of the children. Instead we're having the Christmas celebration at school," says Tom Schultz, principal of the Nørrevang school in Slagelse.

Anders Balle, head of the principal's union, asks principals to be pragmatic. "We shouldn't let go of the cultural part of Christmas, but they shouldn't be preaching either." He says students should be allowed not to participate in events in churches.

Education Minister Christine Antorini (S) doesn't want to intervene if schools decide to drop hymns. "But I think there's a fine balance that parents can ask that their children be exempt from religious events that are not part of the curriculum."

UK Parents Deny 'Honour Killing' of Daughter

The parents of an English schoolgirl of Pakistani origin denied killing their daughter as they appeared in the Manchester Crown Court on Monday.

Iftikhar Ahmed, 52, and his wife Farzana, 49, of Liverpool Road, Warrington, were charged with the murder of their daughter Shafilea in September, according to the Echo.

Shafilea Ahmed, 17, who went missing from her home in Cheshire in September 2003, is a suspected victim of an "honour killing."
Her decomposing remains were found by workmen on the banks of the River Kent in Cumbria in February 2004. She was identified through her jewellery and dental records.

A verdict of unlawful killing was recorded at her inquest in 2008 after two post-mortem tests could not determine the cause of  death, but pathologists believe that Shafilea was probably strangled or suffocated.

During the hearing at Manchester Crown Court on Sept. 15, Justice Richard Henriques said the press can report that the couple was charged after "a family member" accused them of killing their daughter, reported the Mirror.

But Shafilea's parents have always denied any involvement in her murder. Earlier, her parents were arrested in December 2003 on suspicion of abducting Shafilea, but were released without charge in June 2004 as a result of insufficient evidence.
According to the BBC, they were again taken into custody on the suspicion of their daughter's murder in 2010, but released on police bail.

According to the Echo, the court has set a provisional trial date for May 8 at Chester Crown Court.

Honour Killing
An honour killing is the killing of a person by his family members or group, due to the belief that the person has disgraced the family or community. Usually, honour killings are mostly practiced on women, but now men have also been targeted.
The practice is widespread throughout Jordan, Turkey, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Morocco and Egypt. However, it has to be understood that honour killing has nothing to do with the religion, it is more like a cultural practice.
Amnesty International, the international human rights membership organisation, had once said: "The regime of honor is unforgiving: women on whom suspicion has fallen are not given an opportunity to defend themselves, and family members have no socially acceptable alternative but to remove the stain on their honor by attacking the woman."

Makeshift Purley 'mosque' shut down by Croydon Council

AN UNAUTHORISED makeshift "mosque" looks set to be shut down by Croydon Council.

Worshippers have been using a back room at vacant shop Tip Top TV to pray five times a day during the week, after turning it into a prayer space.

But the council says using the premises, in Old Lodge Lane, Purley, as a place of worship breaches planning laws, and that it will soon clamp down on "unauthorised activity".

The makeshift "mosque", with shoe rack, prayer mats and a 99 Names Of Allah wall chart installed, has also proved controversial with local residents, who say the location is inappropriate.

Diane Hearne, chairman of Hartley and District Residents' Association, said: "It is an unusual location for a mosque, and the objection is that it is on a road where there is not enough parking.

"We have had a number of phone calls from people concerned about it because they hadn't been told anything and wanted to be informed. There should be a planning application so people can have their say.
"It is not about it being a mosque, it would be the same for any place of worship, because there is not enough parking on that road and so we feel it is not an appropriate location."

The Advertiser visited the premises on Monday where around seven men, three of whom said they were locals, are using the building for prayers between 6.45am and 8pm.

Proprietor Kamran Hussain, who also runs the nearby mini cab office, said: "I suppose it was out of desperation as there were no facilities available to my staff that I opened the space.
"I have never openly advertised it as a mosque, I have not employed a priest or Imam and am sorry if it has caused any distress.

"If the public feel that we should not allow Muslims to privately pray in a private room then with sadness I will explain to my staff that they have to go somewhere which allows them to pray."

A worshipper, who wished to remain anonymous, said: "We just come peacefully here and go home peacefully. We come here to pray, nothing more."

Steve Hollands, borough councillor for Kenley, said planning permission would be needed for the men to continue using the shop as a place of worship.

Monir Mohammed, 40, a trustee of Purley Islamic Community Centre (PICC), said: "I think it reinforces the need for an Islamic centre in the community, one that is established through the correct channels."
PICC is currently in talks to buy an empty building near the Purley War Memorial Hospital to create such a centre.

A council spokesman said: "The council is aware of concerns regarding this address, has investigated the matter and has contacted the occupier of the premises with a view to ceasing any unauthorised activity."

THE 2012 Olympics face a real threat from the “lethal Libyan legacy” of thousands of missing missiles and deadly chemical weapons that have fallen into terrorist hands, security experts warned last night.

The news comes as the Ministry of Defence announced details of a vast military presence to protect the Games.

Last night the MoD denied this was a response to a “new threat alert”.

A spokesman said: “This is still a police-led operation and we are providing no more in terms of security than what had been originally planned.”

However, a security consultant, who made a comprehensive risk assessment of the London site last month, said: “We are extremely aware of the issue of missing missiles from Libya.”

More than 10,000 shoulder-mounted missiles are still ­unaccounted for after the chaos that led to the toppling of Gaddafi in October. Egyptian authorities have already captured five groups of smugglers taking Libyan weapons toward the ­border with Israel.

Defence Secretary Philip Hammond said security for the Games will include 13,500 ­soldiers who will be supported by armed plainclothes special ­forces and snipers.

More important is the placing of HMS Ocean on the Thames at Greenwich. Ocean will carry a contingent of Royal Marines and special forces and support sniper-carrying Lynx helicopters.

It is fitted with Siren, which uses a variety of jamming techniques against missiles.

Christians are ‘evil’ for backing marriage, says Tesco

 Christians are “evil” if they resist the redefinition of marriage to allow for same-sex marriage, the Head of Research and Development at Tesco.com has said.
 

Nick Lansley is the Head of Research and Development for the Tesco website.
The inflammatory comment came as news emerged that the supermarket giant is selling a drink degradingly called “P***y Natural Energy”, in a limited edition can exclusive to Tesco.
The company has already faced criticism for dumping its support for the Cancer Research ‘Race for Life’ and sponsoring London’s gay pride festival.

The “evil Christians” comment was made by Nick Lansley, Head of Research and Development for the Tesco website.
He wrote: “I’m also campaigning against evil Christians (that’s not all Christians, just bad ones) who think that gay people should not lead happy lives and get married to their same-sex partners.”
The comments appeared on Mr Lansley’s profile page on the photo-sharing website, Flickr.com, where he lists his employment as “Head of R&D at Tesco.com”. But following complaints to Tesco the remarks have now been removed.

Offensive

Earlier this year, a Christian housing manager from Manchester was demoted and had his salary slashed by 40 per cent for posting a moderate comment on Facebook, saying churches shouldn’t be forced to host homosexual civil partnerships if they don’t want to.
According to the Tesco website, the offensively named drink “is a 100% natural light and refreshing Lychee & Grenadilla flavoured energy drink that contains no taurine, preservatives or synthetic caffeine.”
It adds that the drink: “is supporting Cancer Research UK with a limited edition can exclusive to Tesco with five pence from each sale going back to the charity for its life saving research.”

Judgment

Director of The Christian Institute, Colin Hart, said: “I won’t be shopping at Tesco this Christmas, and I am repeatedly hearing from other Christians who have already come to the same conclusion.
“Mr Lansley is entitled to his opinions, and Christians are entitled to choose not to shop at Tesco.
“The decision by Tesco to sell an offensively named drink shows very poor judgment, even if 5p from every can goes to Cancer Research. Come on, Tesco, you are meant to be a family-friendly store. Start acting like it.”

Among the celebrity guests (see above) is a certain Haitham al-Haddad, a big favourite at the East London Mosque. One of his previous appearances there was at an event to pronounce music a “social ill.” Haitham has also described music as a “prohibited and fake message of love and peace.” Let’s hope there aren’t any questions about last year’s Christmas Number One, shall we?

Sharia Adherence Mosque Survey: Correlations between Sharia Adherence and Violent Dogma in U.S. Mosques

Abstract

A random survey of 100 representative mosques in the U.S. was conducted to measure the correlation between Sharia adherence and dogma calling for violence against non-believers.  

Of the 100 mosques surveyed, 51% had texts on site rated as severely advocating violence; 30% had texts rated as moderately advocating violence; and 19% had no violent texts at all. 

Mosques that presented as Sharia adherent were more likely to feature violence-positive texts on site than were their non-Sharia-adherent counterparts. 

In 84.5% of the mosques, the imam recommended studying violence-positive texts.

  The leadership at Sharia-adherent mosques was more likely to recommend that a worshipper study violence-positive texts than leadership at non-Sharia-adherent mosques. 

Fifty-eight percent of the mosques invited guest imams known to promote violent jihad. 

The leadership of mosques that featured violence-positive literature was more likely to invite guest imams who were known to promote violent jihad than was the leadership of mosques that did not feature violence-positive literature on mosque premises.

Muslims attack Hare Krishna temple in Denmark

The Hare Krishna temple in Western Copenhagen was recently assaulted by a group of young Muslims, throwing stones and breaking windows. To diminish the risk of confrontations with the Muslim-dominated neighbourhood, the devotees of the temple are from now on requested to not wear their characteristic clothes outside the temple, in order to not provoke similar attacks in the future. Below is the original account of the attacks.

Dear devotees,
On 6.12.,20.45 the temple in Copenhagen was attacked by a group of gundas with obviously Muslim background. First stones were thrown against the front of the residential temple building, then the window in the mathaji asrama got broken.[TK], the temple president, called police instantly. A single police officer arived, took notice of the dammage and left again. Half an hour later a bigger group of the same attackers arived, again throwing stones, entering the garden, braking this time windows in the Tulasi room, all the bottom windows facing the street. Finaly they tried to brake into the house, seeking direct physical conflict.

It didnt took long to find out the possible background of this attack.

(The temple was never exposed to such an incident before).
The same day two devotees, one of them living directly in the temple and the other outside, were biking closeby when they met on the street a car standing with open door. One passed, the other got blocked by the open door and complained. According to the statement of one of them he was directly attacked by the driver with a tool fetched from the car and as the other one came to his rescue, a fist fight started. Devotees sustained minor injuries. Finaly police arived at the scene and took record of the incident.

As the temple is located in a close Muslim neighbourhood, featuring a Muslim school, etc., it is quite possible that these two incidents are related. The police didnt make sofar this connection,but its obvious.
As matter of fact the involvement of the police was minimal sofar, it took them more a half an hour to arive and after the second attack they didnt come at all. If the attackers would manage to brake into the house, somebody could have been kiled as they were armed with baseball clubs and other weapons. As seeing from the window, most of them could have been even less as 18 years old and some of them couldnt even speak proper denish.

It can be only hoped that this incident was an act of momentarily rage and will not spark a long term enmity and chain of attacks from the local Muslim community. To find the leader of the gang and try to communicate with him is hardly possible. We cannot expect any protection from the police and so once again we are fully depending on the mercy of Sri Sri Goura Nitai and Lord Nrsimhadeva.

P.S. Please, if possible, lets help [TKP] as he will have to deal now with further police investigation, the insurance company and the repairs following this attack.
Further on devotees are requested to change possibly their devotee dress after leaving the temple property, as being seen in the vaisnava dress they may provoke in an uncontroled manner attacks from the local Muslims while walkig on the street. Incidents of this nature do happen. Even this one is based on individual improper behaviour of both parties, the driver and the devotees, the final attack was issued against anybody who could be identified as the memmber of the Hare Krsna movement. Lets hope these attacks will not escalate. Sofar nobody got injured, but it was a close call indeed.

One grim finding for Anglicans in the new British Social Attitudes survey is how few find religion after not being born into it. So says the ‘concerned’ Nick Spencer in The Guardian.

But even grimmer for Anglicans are ‘inclusive’ Christmas carols services – you know, the sort that bend over backwards to be all things to all people in order that by any means possible none may be offended. In fact, it is these sort of gospel-lite and theology-free services which are largely responsible for people not finding Christ – even at Christmas.

Royal Holloway College, in the University of London, held its Christmas carol service in its own College Chapel, presided over jointly by the College's Chaplain – an Anglican vicar, the Rev'd Cate Irvine, and a Roman Catholic chaplain from the local church, Fr Vladimir Nikiforov.

And what did the assembled festive throng hear? The prophecy of of Isaiah? 'For unto us a child is born...'? The Gospel of Luke? 'There went out a decree from Caesar Augustus...'? A reading from Micah, perhaps? 'But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall He come forth unto Me that is to be Ruler in Israel'?

No, none of the above. Instead, they got the Qur'an:

Behold! the angels said "O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus the son of Mary held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah.

"He shall speak to the people in childhood and in maturity and he shall be of the company of the righteous."

She said: "O my Lord! how shall I have a son when no man hath touched me?" He said: "Even so: Allah createth what He willeth; when He hath decreed a plan He but saith to it 'Be' and it is!

"And Allah will teach him the Book and Wisdom the Law and the Gospel.

"And (appoint him) an Apostle to the Children of Israel with this message: I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I make for you out of clay as it were the figure of a bird and breathe into it and it becomes a bird by Allah's leave; and I heal those born blind and the lepers and I quicken the dead by Allah's leave; and I declare to you what ye eat and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe.

"I have come to you to attest the Law which was before me and to make lawful to you part of what was before forbidden to you; I have come to you with a Sign from your Lord. So fear Allah and obey me.

"It is Allah who is my Lord and your Lord; then worship Him. This is a way that is straight." (Qur'an 3:45-51)

Fantastic, eh? Perhaps we should be grateful that the Rev’d Cate and Fr Vladimir didn’t select this reading:

That they rejected faith: that they uttered against Mary a grave false charge.
That they said in boast "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary the Apostle of Allah"; but they killed him not nor crucified him but so it was made to appear to them and those who differ therein are full of doubts with no (certain) knowledge but only conjecture to follow for of a surety they killed him not. (Qur'an 4:156-158)

Perhaps they’re saving that for Easter.

The other readings were extracts of 'secular' poetry, including Eliot’s ‘The Journey of the Magi’ (which was the least egregious). The beginning of St John's Gospel was, mercifully, still in place as the final reading, but it was erroneously printed as ‘1 John’ – a totally different book altogether.

Royal Holloway College has been in the news recently for downgrading its Classics department. Perhaps Professor Paul Layzell, the College's Principal, and Professor Geoff Ward, the Vice-Principal responsible for the Chapel, ought to find other means of economising. When you compromise on the intellectual, political, and imaginative foundations of Western culture, you create a spiritual vacuum which needs to be filled. The people cry out for meat, and all they can get is the milk of dumbed-down Anglicanism followed by a mouthful of Islam.

This year’s shortlist for the Ronnie Hutton Memorial Prize

Usually at this time of the year I’m busy at home compiling entrants for the Ronnie Hutton Memorial Prize, a prestigious award which goes to whatever police force has made the most fatuous arrest under the new and superfluous ‘race hate’ legislation.

You may not remember, but Ronnie Hutton was the Scottish motorist who, several years ago, spent two days in prison and was fined £150 for the crime of ‘revving his car in a racist manner’.

Mr Hutton revved his car in a busy street and two Muslim people took offence and that was it. I have to admit that I am not a fan of gratuitous car-revving and usually shout some sort of abuse, although obviously not racist abuse, when people do it near me. But it never occurs to me that the driver might be revving his car out of racial hatred.

Anyway, this is an important award and hotly contested by police forces up and down the country. This year, after sifting through the entries, I had decided it should go to Hampshire Police, for their salutary arrest of a pub singer called Simon Ledger who offered his audience a rendition of the old Carl Douglas hit ‘Kung Fu Fighting’, which the old bill decided could possibly be of offence to any Chinese people who might be listening, which they weren’t. I had the certificate made out and everything and now, at the last moment, have had a change of mind. Because I came across the remarkable case of Rhea Page and the chance to add a subtle twist to this year’s award.

Rhea was walking with her boyfriend through the centre of the fragrant and idyllic multicultural nirvana which is Leicester when she was the subject of an unprovoked attack from four young Somali women. She was thrown to the ground, had a large hunk of her hair ripped out and was repeatedly kicked in the stomach as she lay on the pavement. There was no reason offered for the attack: ‘I can only think that it was because I am white,’ Rhea suggested. But these four young women were not charged with a racially aggravated assault, which carries a stiffer penalty than just any old assault. If I punch you in the face, that is assault. However, if the police can suggest that I had some racial animus for punching you, rather than simply punching you because I think you are an idiot, then that would be taken much more seriously by the court.

But the Somali girls were not charged with a racially aggravated assault. Don’t forget, the new guidelines suggest that if someone believes they are the victim of racism then that belief should not be questioned; it should be accepted that they are a victim of racism. Unless they are Rhea Page. Nor is it the case that we have only Rhea’s suspicion that it was a racist assault — even though, as I say again, that should in itself be enough for the police, under their own guidelines. But no, there is additional evidence that this might just have been racially motivated — such as one of the young women screaming ‘Kill the white slag!’, an allegation which was not contested in court. And also another one of them shouting ‘White bitch!’ as she stuck the boot in.

Here’s a guess, and it is only a guess; if the boot had been on the other foot, to use an appropriate metaphor, and it had been a Somali girl getting her head kicked in by four white girls who shouted ‘Kill the black slag’ and ‘Black bitch’, the charge of racism would not have been remotely questioned. Indeed, even if no physical attack had taken place, I think the white girls would be in prison, simply for the racial verbal abuse. But these young women were not even charged with racially aggravated assault.

So what happened to the Somali women, then? Well, the judge was bloody stern with them, quite rightly. He told them, in the most serious of tones, that the whole business had ‘reflected badly’ upon them and that in normal circumstances people who behaved in the manner in which they had behaved would be facing a spell in prison. But not, as it happens, in their case. He suspended a six-month prison sentence on them because he seemed to accept the plea of mitigation that they had been drinking and that, as Muslims, they were unused to the pernicious effects of alcohol. This observation, incidentally, runs counter to what I have always been told pertains in court cases — that alcohol should never be considered a mitigating factor, that the imbibing of alcohol does not lessen guilt. But that, you might argue, is the least of it.

Rhea Page is not terribly happy about the outcome. ‘It’s no punishment at all and sends out a message that it’s okay to do that to someone. And for them to say they did it because they were not used to alcohol is not an excuse. If they were not supposed to be drinking then they shouldn’t have been out in bars at that time of night,’ she said. Well, indeed — and it is the sort of case which stokes up resentment generally as people notice that there is no such thing as equal treatment.

So, this year’s Ronnie Hutton Award is shared between Leicestershire Constabulary and Judge Robert Brown. I think the judge should have it for the first six months and then drop it off at the nick sometime in June. Just to be fair.

Muslim Gunman in Belgium kills 5 and injures 122

Summoned for questioning by Belgian police, Nordine Amrani, a Muslim man with a history of weapons and drug offenses left home armed with hand grenades, a revolver and an assault rifle. Stopping at a central square filled with holiday shoppers, he lobbed three grenades into the crowd, then opened fire.

Five people were killed, including an 18-month-old toddler, and 122 were wounded in the assault Tuesday that brought tragedy to the pre-Christmas season of students reveling in exam results and preschoolers enchanted by brightly lit trees and holiday stalls.

Herman Van Rompuy, a former Belgian prime minister who is now president of the European Council, said he was badly shaken by the attack. “There is no explanation whatsoever,” Van Rompuy said. “It leaves me perplexed and shocked.”

Of course there is an explanation.  Amrani was a Muslim and he was waging his personal Jihad against the infidels. After over 18,000 terrorist attacks by the followers of the religion of peace since 9/11, the only thing that is inexplicable and indeed shocking is the surprise of the politicians and their inability to connect the dots between the terrorists and the hate mongering teachings of their prophet.

Two days earlier, another Muslim, calmly pointed his handgun and opened fire on passing cars near Vine Street and Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood while shouting Allahu Akbar. He injured one passerby before being killed by the police. In both cases the media refused to identify the killer as Muslim terrorist.

The Belgian Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo said the attack was the act of a “lone assailant,” a man known to police who had “no links to terrorism.” “This is an isolated case. This is not about terrorism,” he stressed.

The truth is that Muslims don’t have to belong to any organization to carry out jihad. Any Muslim can arm him/herself with guns, grenades, poisonous chemicals, or even a kitchen knife and perform his religious duty, killing the infidels. The fact that a Muslim has been involved in drug trafficking, theft or pimping does not preclude him or her to become a jihadi. Most of the companions of Muhammad were thugs and ruffians, murderers and thieves prior to converting to Islam.

After converting, they put their expertise at the service of their prophet. Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, who was responsible for the murder of thousands of people in Iraq, was originally a car thief.  Many Muslim converts are ex-convicts and many of them converted to Islam in prison. I know this first hand because many of them write to me and brag about their résumé of crimes prior to their conversion to Islam.  Islam attracts criminals.

Nidal Malik Hasan, the Fort Hood shooter and Faisal Shahzad, the Time Square bomber, were also acting as individuals.  However, they were not without any connection to a terrorist organization. Islam is a terrorist organization. The multitudes of Islamic terrorist organizations don’t have a distinct ideology. They follow the Quran.

Islamic terrorism will continue and more innocent lives will be lost. The leftist politicians and the leftist media will continue to hoodwink the public and deny any Islamic involvement. None of the major news media mentioned that Nrodine Amrani or the Hollywood shooter were Muslim, even though the latter was shouting Allahu Akbar while gunning down people in the street.

No one is more sleep than one who fakes it. But as Abraham Lincoln said, you can’t fool all the people all the time. The public is awakening and they will not sit till their unscrupulous politicians and their compromised media take them to the slaughterhouse to the last person. Their anger can be heard in the Internet. The MSM is silent, but the Internet is roaring.

Not everyone can act rationally. In every population there are insane individuals who snap. In the same day that Nrodine Amrani was butchering Christmas shoppers in Belgium, a 50-year-old Gianluca Casseri, opened fire on in an outdoor market in Florence, Italy, killing two vendors from Senegal and wounding three other Senegalese before killing himself.

In Norway last July, a crazed man, Anders Behring Breivik went on a bomb and shooting spree that killed 77 people in Oslo and an island retreat, apparently motivated by a hatred of Muslim immigrants and a deep grudge against the governing Labor Party. A psychiatric evaluation found him criminally insane, which if upheld by the courts means he would end up in compulsory psychiatric care instead of prison.

The Belgian jihadi on Tuesday was killed accidentally by one of his grenades. Had he been able to throw all his granddads at the public, the death toll and injuries could have been much higher.

The peaceful West is becoming a war zone, courtesy of the religion of peace. Islamic immigration has cost the westerners countless lives, enormous amount of tax money and their freedom.  This chaos will continue until, either the leftist parties are eradicated and the media is discredited, or the West succumbs to Islam.

'It's totally bonkers': Cambridge University dons warned not to shake hands with Muslims or disabled people in case it offends them

Academics at Cambridge University have reacted with dismay after being ordered not to automatically shake hands with Muslims or disabled people in case it upsets them.

A directive sent to admissions tutors warns that some applicants are 'culturally sensitive' to traditional greetings and suggests that 'suitable body language' is just as welcoming.

A spokesman for the university said: 'Dons should read the situation properly and bear in mind that not all people will want to shake hands.'

He said the warning related in particular to Muslim women and some people with disabilities. 

Some tutors say they have been made to feel like 'social misfits' as a result.
One, who did not want to be named, told The Daily Telegraph: 'It seems to be totally bonkers. We know when to shake someone's hand and when no to.'

BELGIAN POLICE FIND KALASHNIKOV ON MEMBER OF SHARIA4BELGIUM

 

 Well we can’t say that it comes as a surprise, neither would it be a surprise to know that the kalashnikov was obtained by the member of Sharia4Belgium long before the officials starting claiming it had become “radicalized”.

 

 RTLNIEUWS: DEURNE – Belgian police have searched a member of the extremist movement Sharia4Belgium and found a Kalashnikov some Belgian newspapers on Monday reported. According to the report police say it is a “very serious offense.” The courts and the police want to move now to keep a closer eye.
